The Prayer Meeting happens on alternate Thursdays from 8pm to 9pm.
These prayer meetings are one of a number of opportunities in Greenview to gather with others to ask for God’s blessing in the church and on our world. Gathering together in this way recognises that without God’s help we can do nothing of any real spiritual significance – in Greenview or elsewhere.
We pray for all aspects of our church life, for those struggling in difficult situations, for those serving the Lord Jesus in other places and for God’s will to prevail in the world.
These Prayer Meetings include monthly Missionary reports and a focus on overseas mission.
Please let us know how we can pray for you. We can pray for any problem or worry – you don’t need to give us any personal details; just tell us how we can pray.
Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” – John 14:13
Even though we might not know much about you, we believe that prayer is still effective because God knows everything about each one of us – Jeremiah 1:5
We believe that God is concerned about our welfare and wants to help us – Matthew 11:28
We believe that we don’t need to be near you physically in order for God to respond to our prayers and act in your life – John 4:46-54
The Bible says that God is love, and we are to follow Him by being a people of love.
God is powerful and able to help in any situation.
Our Evening Service is also an opportunity to pray about anything with our Greenview Prayer Team.
We also run Prayer and Praise evenings throughout the year in our Evening Services. Check the diary for future Prayer and Praise events.
