Training and equipping external options

Training and equipping external options

At Greenview we are committed to encouraging and helping the church family to be trained and equipped:

  • “…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4v12)
  • “Now may the God of peace…equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ…” (Hebrews 13v21)
  • “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3v16-17)

Being trained and equipped to serve God and people is an important part of growing and maturing as a Christian believer. There are many options to choose from and we have collated some of these together to help you navigate.

We distinguish between ‘formal’ training provision from external providers such as Theological Seminaries and Bible Colleges and ‘informal’ training provision we run in-house by ourselves (sometimes with external facilitators). This page focuses on some ‘formal’ provision.

Our in-house training and equipping section will direct you to what takes place at Greenview.
