Whether you’ve lived in Glasgow’s Southside for years, are just exploring the city, or have recently arrived here, you’ll find a friendly, diverse mix of people at Greenview. Our church family is made up of people from all walks of life – including families, students, young workers, and people at all stages of life. On any given Sunday, we are joined by first-time visitors, those exploring the Christian faith, and long-time members. We love that we are a warm, welcoming community representing many different backgrounds.
We meet for worship on Sundays at 11 AM (and also 6 PM except during summer). These services are times of encouragement and joy as we gather to praise God, hear the life-changing truth of His Word preached, and pray together. We also provide a creche (for under 3s) and Sunday School (from age 3 to P7) during our morning service so that children can learn about God at their own level. After the morning service, we meet informally over tea and coffee, which is a wonderful opportunity to catch up, get to know each other better, and share life together.

Our Sunday Morning Service
11:00am (Also live-streamed online)
With age-specific groups for children and youth
Our morning service brings together people of all ages for worship. We begin our time together as a whole church family for the start of the service, after which the children and youth head out to their own age-appropriate groups while the main teaching continues for the adults.
- Creche: A fully equipped, welcoming creche is available for babies and toddlers (under 3s), providing a safe play space so parents can fully engage with the service.
- Children & Youth Groups: We run interactive, age-specific groups (from age 3 up to teens) designed to help young people explore the Christian faith for themselves, ask big questions, and know they are a highly valued part of our church.
- Safeguarding: Your child’s safety is our priority. In line with our safeguarding policy, all of our children’s leaders and volunteers are fully PVG-cleared.
What to Expect
Our morning service usually lasts around 70 to 80 minutes. Worship at Greenview is led by our music teams and includes a vibrant mix of classic hymns and contemporary songs.
After the service, we gather in the hall for tea, coffee, and biscuits – it’s the perfect time to catch up, chat, and get to know one another. We also regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) together as part of our worship.

Our Sunday Evening Service
6:00pm (sermons are made available online)
(Note: Evening services are taking a break over the summer – our normal evening service will resume on the 17th of August 2026)
Our evening service brings is a further opportunity to worship together, often in a less busy and more reflective service. The service includes sung worship, bible teaching and often times of communion. Our communion times are sometimes led by a Community Group or allow for participation from the floor, so it is very relaxed.
Once a month, we also enjoy a church cafe at the end of the service, which let’s us enjoy some wonderful food and conversation with one another.

Finally, there is also a chance to ask any questions about the Christian faith or just to share a struggle you are having with our Prayer Team. Our prayer team are available every Sunday morning immediately after the service finishes. The guy and girl assigned to the prayer team will be sitting on the very front row at the end of the service, so they should be easy to find. While everyone else is heading through to the cafe hall for a coffee, they would love to chat, listen and then pray with you in confidence.
