Zach Watt shows how Nathan opens David’s eyes to seeing what he has done. He was in denial, but Nathan tells him a story which makes him see what he has done in all its horror, with all its consequences. He admits his guilt before God and is forgiven. But while the pardon is free, it is also costly. There are inescapable consequences. But step by step David returns to God. He makes what restitution is possible and he resumes his neglected duties as king.
