Thousand years and last judgement – Revelation Ch20

Thousand years and last judgement – Revelation Ch20

This week Colin Adams looks at Revelation chapter 20.  This is a chapter that folk have found very difficult to understand during the last two millennia.  Its reference to a millennium has no single, generally accepted, meaning.  Colin reviews the four most common interpretations.  Then, while declaring his own preference, he concentrates on the three themes in the chapter on which we all agree.  First, Christ reigns – he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Then, Satan will lose and be delivered to eternal torment in the lake of fire.  Finally, universal judgement will come based upon the books of ‘Deeds’ and the book of ‘Life’.  All those whose names are not written in the ‘Book of Life’ will likewise be thrown into the lake of fire forever.  Is your name written there?
