Pain and Distress and Comfort in Remembrance – Psalm 77

This evening’s passage is a Psalm of hard times.  Vic Walker acknowledges that trust in God doesn’t guarantee an absence of problems.  The problems may come, and our prayers may appear not to be answered.  But, even in the midst of the pain and distress, as we remember God’s track record in care for his people, we gain comfort.  Our situation may not have changed, but our viewpoint has.  We cannot see God’s footprints, but we know he is going before us through the troubles.
