This Morning Colin Adams looks at how Paul deals with the Corinthian’s abuse of the Lord’s Supper, and the lessons we can learn, under three headings:
Recognise the problem — Do you despise the Church of God by humiliating those who have nothing?
Remember the point — The point of the Lord’s Supper is the Lord himself. It is intended to help us remember Jesus’ death and all that it accomplished.
Reflect on your practice — the motivation and the implementation. Let’s not turn a delightful thing into a deadly thing. Above all, let’s remember that Jesus is the point.
