This week Colin Adams looks at the popular moto “Work hard! Play hard!”. This idea was exhaustively researched by ‘the Teacher’ who wrote Ecclesiastes. In chapter two he describes all that he did and concludes that it is like chasing after the wind. It is a pointless, and endless effort with no satisfactory completion.
But ‘the Teacher’ realises the missing factor to give life meaning. Colin reveals that the moto, above, originally had a third part, which agrees with the finding of ‘the Teacher’.
