Sunday Guide

Morning service (11AM)

Join us at 11AM in the main hall where we spend the hour worshipping God. We sing, pray, and hear God’s word being preached and applied to our lives. The sermons will normally be working through a Bible book in a systematic way.  Then at 12 we move through to the back hall for a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee.

We hope we are a child-friendly church, and there are lots of families around Greenview. Our kids sit in with the adults at the start of the Morning Service, and then are free to leave for their own program half-way through the service. Our Sunday School, for children age 3 up to Primary 7,  allows the younger ones to be taught at their own level.

(Greenview has an up to date child protection policy, and all of our teachers go through appropriate checks).

Evening service (6PM)

Sunday evenings are a special time for us, where we round off our day in worship.  The early start time allows families with younger children still to attend. Our Evening Service incorporates Communion where Christians* take time to remember the Lord Jesus and his life, death and resurrection as he commanded us to (1 Cor 11).

On the third Sunday of the month, a café follows this service.

*A Christian is someone who has recognised their sin and is putting their trust in Jesus alone for salvation.

Dress code?

There isn’t one! Just come along in whatever you feel comfortable.

What else is happening at Greenview?

In addition to regular Sunday Services each week,  we run various regular activities and events during the week.

In addition, we let you know about special events, some of which are associated with Greenview that we host and provide. Some are provided by external churches and organisations out with Greenview that we also highlight.
