Morning service (11.30am)

Except summer term. June – August (10.30am start).

Join us from 11 for a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee. Then, at 11.30, we move through to the main hall where we spend the hour worshipping God. We sing, pray, and hear God’s word being preached and applied to our lives. The sermons will normally be working through a Bible book in a systematic way.

We hope we are a child-friendly church, and there are lots of families around Greenview. Our kids sit in with the adults at the start of the morning service, and then are free to leave for their own program half way through the service. Our children’s church allows the younger ones to be taught at their own level.  Children’s church is for children age 3 up to Primary 7.  (Greenview has an up to date child protection policy, and all of our teachers go through appropriate checks).

Evening service (6pm)

Sunday evenings are a special time for us, where we round off our day in worship.  The early start time allows families with younger children still to attend. On the third Sunday of the month, a café follows this service.

Breaking of bread service (10am)

Three Sundays a month (2nd, 3rd & 4th) we have a breaking of bread service too.  All are welcome to attend, and Christians* are invited to eat the loaf and drink the cup in memory of Jesus’ sacrifice. On the first Sunday of the month  communion is integrated into our Morning Service (11.30am), so that we only have two services.

During the summer months (June/July/August) we break with our pattern. We simply enjoy communion as part of our evening service (6pm).

Dress code?

There isn’t one! Just come along in whatever you feel comfortable.
