We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Saviour of sinners and the risen Lord. Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical figure and the best place to learn about him is the Bible itself. The four gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – are complementary accounts of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. These records show us that Jesus saw himself as no ordinary man, but God in the flesh.
Jesus came to earth on a divine mission: to die on a cross and rise from the dead so that we could be forgiven and receive eternal life. The extraordinary miracles of Jesus – not least his resurrection – confirm to the truthfulness of these claims.
