Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical figure, yet the best place to read about Jesus is the Bible itself. The four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) are complementary accounts of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. They reveal Jesus as the Son of God, the fulfilment of ancient promises and above all as the one who came to rescue us from judgement. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave to freely give eternal life to all who believe in him.
If you’re curious to learn more about these life changing claims, you could do any (or all of the following):
- come along to church – or listen online – where you’ll hear more about Jesus in our weekly Bible messages.
- Ask us any questions you have.
- Consider being involved in an informal course called “Christianity Explored” where you can find out more. We are able to run this online if that would be helpful.
