While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Matthew 26:26
At Easter this year, we have arranged an additional communion service.
There is great value in meeting on Good Friday to consider the death and sacrifice of Christ. We will meet for dinner at 5.30pm, then celebrate communion together – including some led participation and open worship.
This is a ticketed event to allow us to know how many to cook the meal for. Please see Andy Macdonald for a ticket. Tickets are free, but we would have the opportunity to make a donation towards the costs.
By having this service on Good Friday, our Easter Sunday Morning Service will focus more on the resurrection of Jesus. As in recent years, there will be a communion service on Easter Sunday evening.
