Applying Scripture to Life with ACBC

Applying Scripture to Life with ACBC

The Association of Certified Biblical Counsellors (ACBC) are presenting a series of talks across Scotland and Ireland.

In Glasgow the session takes place on Thursday 30th May at the Royal College, St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5RJ at 7:30pm.

The presentation is of particular interest to those we know who suffer from anxiety, depression or any challenging circumstance.  Yet the principles which they explain are of value to all Christians as we seek to apply the God’s word to our life and others.

Also, the presentation will introduce Christians to the principles of biblical counselling and seek to explain that there is a way to help people which recognises the complexity of their problems so that Christians can draw alongside with increasing wisdom, love and understanding.  Biblical counselling recognises the importance of medicine in helping people with medical problems.  (You can read their statement about this here).

The executive director of the organisation Dale Johnson will be speaking.  He comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience not only on the theory but also the practice of biblical counselling.
