Sunday Guide

Sunday Guide

Sunday is the day when our church family gathers together.

Morning Service (11.30am-12.30pm; 10.30 June-August)

Your welcome to join us from 11 for a freshly brewed coffee or cup of tea before the service. At half past we move through to the main hall where we spend the hour worshipping God, through singing, praying and hearing the Bible preached.  In our sermons we typically work through a book of the Bible systematically.

Sunday School (11.50am-12.30pm)

We aim to be a child-friendly church. The kids join the adults at the start of the morning service, but then leave for their own program around 11.50am.  Sunday School is for children aged 3 up to Primary 7.  Please note that Greenview has an up to date child protection policy, and all of our teachers go through appropriate checks.

Evening Service (6.00pm-7pm)

Sunday evenings have become a special time for us, where we meet again to sing God’s praise and hear his word.  Our early start time allows families with younger children and teenagers to still attend. On the third Sunday of the month, a café follows our evening service.

Breaking of Bread Service (; not first Sunday of month, or summer)

On three each Sundays a month we also have the breaking of bread service.  At this service, we encourage  Christians* to eat the loaf and drink the cup in memory of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. On the first Sunday of each month this communion time is integrated into our Morning Service.

Note: During the summer months (June/July/August) we have communion as part of our evening service (6pm)

* A Christian is someone who has recognised that they are a sinner and who has received forgiveness by trusting in Jesus Christ.
